I have just read-up about the Icelandic Sheepdog and they are not unlike the Corgi.

This breed is fairly rare but increasing again in numbers and they of course originate from Iceland and in fact are that country's only native breed of dog.

They are usually red and white, between 12-16 inches in height and should weigh no more than 30 pounds. But they are leggy like a Border Collie otherwise their height and weight and coat colour is pretty well in keeping with Pembroke Corgis. As is the nature of what they were originally bred to do.

They have a great disposition and are lively and make great house pets/companions. And they are good looking.

Several years ago, Go Corgi got a new member who was from Iceland and looking to import into Iceland the only Corgi or Corgis at that time in that country which enjoys a high standard of living.

Corgis and Icelandic Sheepdogs would enjoy each other's company for sure.
